Family Centre news

Pencader Family Centre, in co-operation with Sure Start, is pleased to promote a new Stepping Stones Parenting Course beginning in September, which will last for ten weeks, each session being on a Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 11.30. A creche will be provided, and please let us know in advance should you wish to attend as places are limited. This course will be very useful for parents. Baby Massage sessions will also be available on a Wednesday morning. This course is very beneficial for babies, and let us know if you would like to attend with your baby. Sports Day will be on the 4th August, and the Family Centre Fun day will be on the 24th of August. There are stilll some places available for both trips and the cost is £2.00 per seat. The ever popular Card Making Day with Lyn and Elaine is on the 25th August from 10.00 to 12.00, each card made costing £1.00. This is great for both children and adults if you wish to make a unique card for a special occasion. Looking further ahead, the Family Centre Annual General Meeting is on the 7th of September at 7.30 pm and finally, the photographer will be visiting on the 22nd of September.
